This year you will meet three artists in The Mill (Kvarnen). All three work with textile expression. Just like Karin Larsson. All three are untraditional and cross boundaries. Just like Karin. They use the power of their imagination and each of them has her own special relation to Lilla Hyttnäs.
Collected Seconds relates to time. The time each and every one of us has been allotted. How we use it. How some of us leave marks that can benefit future generations.
Karin Larsson found her time in the midst of everyday life, in front of the loom or in the rocking chair with her embroidery. She writes ”I am so greedy for every minute” when she wants to finish off her drapery ”Kärlekens ros” (Love’s Rose) for Carl.
